A TIKTOK star who traveled to Tenerife to look for Jay Slater has leaked private messages with the teenager’s distraught mother.
Jay’s family responded to Callum Fahim on Thursday after he claimed he had given up the search after saying he “never received any money” from GoFundMe – leading to a row between them.

Callum voluntarily traveled to Tenerife to help officers with the hunt, but after returning home on Thursday he was questioned by Debbie Duncan over some of his comments.
The social media star posted screenshots of a conversation with Debbie from this week.
In Facebook messages, Callum reveals that several people have asked him to comment on the back and forth between the Slater family and him.
Debbie responds in one of the private messages saying: “I told you not to talk to anyone as it obviously backfired on you.”
Callum flew to the island after contacting Debbie online, as reported by Sky News.
But after helping with the search for several days, he decided to return home yesterday.

He said he left because he hadn’t received any money from a GoFundMe for Jay, which has now reached almost £50,000.
Debbie previously said in a statement about the money that would be spent to fly and care for the people who helped hunt for her son.
As soon as Callum spoke out about the alleged lack of money he received, Jay’s family accused him of coming “of his own free will” for a “free holiday”.
As Debbie came out and said, “He’s a walker. We don’t need walkers, we need specialists.”
They went on to say they gave him £740 of their own money for his accommodation – something he has said has since been true.
In Callum’s follow-up statement, he confirmed he had not received money for “essential items”, which led to his comments.
Other people who helped expressed similar things in recent days.
The TikToker says he leaked the texts to prove Debbie didn’t speak out against him after reports claimed she labeled him “bitter.”
Callum has since refuted that point, saying Debbie never described him that way after the pair clarified the matter online.
His post ended with him addressing the hate he has received since speaking out on GoFundMe – revealing that he has been attacked with death threats from the public.
He said: “I am an innocent individual who mentioned the fact that part of the statement going to fund me was not true and now I have received hate for it.”
The TikToker went on to talk about how the search was overshadowed in his mind by coverage of the situation.
Callum described the constant speculation about what happened to Jay and who is responsible for it as a big factor in why problems keep arising in the case.
He wrote online: “The Jay Slater case got really out of control.”
As another message from the social media personality says, “this needs to stop.”
The hunt for Jay
The mammoth search effort ended after 14 days of searching for the 19-year-old last weekend.
The young Brit disappeared after a night out at the NRG festival at the Papagayo nightclub in Playa de las Americas, on June 17.
Spanish authorities say there is “no current evidence of criminality” in the case, and his family says they will not give up hope of finding him.
Meanwhile, a private investigator revealed that Jay “stole a Rolex” before disappearing.

Rolex disappears after ‘fight’
Police launched a new investigation on Saturday morning into the theft of a Rolex watch just hours before Jay disappeared.
It’s unclear exactly how Jay’s disappearance may be related, but one of Jay’s friends told detectives that the alleged theft may have led Jay to wander alone to try to find the watch.
The Rolex went missing when a fight broke out at the club where Jay was partying with investigators questioning taxi drivers and bar staff present on the tarmac.
It has been said that Jay himself may have stolen the watch.
Police eliminate duo
Two mystery Brits who partied with Jay Slater on the night of his disappearance have been labeled “not relevant” by investigators.
Investigator Mark Williams-Thomas said the men stayed with Jay at an Airbnb villa in Tenerife before he disappeared.
They are both said to be in their 30s and 40s and from Luton, Bedfordshire, with one known by the nickname “Johnny Vegas”.
The men were asked to speak briefly to police before being allowed to return home to the UK.
Just six volunteers for ‘massive’ search
Yesterday, Tenerife police launched what they called a “massive” new search with the help of specialist volunteers to find the 19-year-old Briton.
However, only six volunteers showed up, said Tiktoker Paul Arnott, 29, who flew in to help with the search.
Jay’s father Warren and older brother Zak were spotted on the search site.
The area being searched is a 2,000-foot ravine that has a steep trail running through it to the sea.
Last mysterious calls
Jay’s last phone call to his friend Lucy Law was shrouded in mystery and raised several questions.
The 18-year-old woman told reporters that Jay called her in a panic at around 8:30 a.m. on Monday, June 17.
She remembered him saying he couldn’t catch the bus and that he was going to start walking back to his apartment.
Jay told her that his phone was almost out of power, that he had cut his leg on a prickly cactus, and that he was in dire need of a drink.
Phone pinging
Search teams have restricted their efforts to a small group of buildings near where Jay’s phone last pinged, but have found nothing over the past week.
Jay took a 45-minute car ride with two men to an Airbnb near Masco, in Rural de Teno, a national park in the north of the island.
He posted a photo on Snapchat at the £40-a-night excavations at around 7.30am, appearing to show him holding a cigarette and walking down some stone steps.
After deciding to leave the house, Jay called Lucy before her cell phone went dead at 8:50 a.m. near a hiking trail in the park.
And the first photo of the man who rented the Airbnb where he spent his last night was revealed.
Jay was last seen traveling with the two mysterious men in the north of the island, in the Teno Rural park.
The next morning he made one last frantic phone call to his friend Lucy to say he was stuck in the “middle of nowhere”.
Panicking, Jay, who faced an 11-hour walk back to his hotel, told her he needed water and only had one percent battery left on his phone.
His other friend, Brad Hargreaves, revealed a second call in which Jay told him he had strayed from the main path – leading to speculation he may have slipped on rocks.
Earlier today, Lucy shared a new photo of the missing teen.
Spanish police have told Jay’s family they may bring in their own search teams to find the missing teenager.
