WHITE House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre lashed out at reporters Monday after a series of questions about the president’s health.
Jean-Pierre was asked about eight visits a Parkinson’s disease specialist made to the White House last year, but declined to name him despite his name being listed in publicly available visitor logs.
She received pushback from reporters, who were upset by the amount of information being provided.
“We’re angry around here about how the information was shared with the press around here,” said CBS News correspondent Ed O’Keefe.
“No matter how much you pressure me, no matter how mad you get at me, I’m not going to confirm a name,” Jean-Pierre said.
“It doesn’t matter if it’s on the record. I’m not going to do it from here. What I can share with you is that the president saw a neurologist for physical exams three times.”
Reporters asked whether Biden met with a doctor before and after the June 27 Presidential Debate, during which the president struggled to answer questions and froze at the podium.
