The US Sun obtained exclusive photos of the pair at renowned Japanese restaurant Nobu on the evening of July 6, before they were photographed together again on Sunday morning, wearing the same outfits.

The pair flashed giant smiles for the cameras on Saturday night as they climbed into Castro’s $500,000 Porsche, shared a passionate kiss and headed off to the nightlife.

The following morning, Castro and his companion returned to the Malibu restaurant to recover the woman’s car.

In a 30-second video obtained by The US Sun, the woman shows the former mechanic her Mustang convertible that was parked in the parking lot.

The woman pulls the driver’s door handle as if to check if the car is locked and talks briefly with Castro.

Moments later, the pair return to Castro’s exotic sports car as he opens the door for the woman, who goes back inside.

A smiling Castro is seen riding in the back of his Porsche, getting into the driver’s car and driving away.

The couple rushed to Cafe on 27, a quaint cafe west of Los Angeles.

Exclusive photos showed Castro and the woman leaving the coffee shop with his right arm lightly around her waist.

The pair appeared to be accompanied by a member of Castro’s 24/7 security team.

Castro hired three security guards to protect him and his property 24 hours a day, according to The New York Post Office.

security company Global Risk Solutions, Inc.which does not protect the Powerball winner, reports that the price of security can cost between $85 and $215 per hour for a bodyguard.

Castro could be paying around US$21,000 per week for the trio’s service, the outlet reported.

A source told The US Sun that Castro rarely drives alone on tours unless he is in one of his vintage vehicles and is often driven by a member of his security entourage.

‘YOU’RE GOING TO FALL, CASTRO’

Meanwhile, Castro’s legal battle with his nemesis, José Rivera, remains ongoing.

Rivera, 49, sued Castro in February 2023, claiming the $2 billion Powerball ticket was stolen from him.

The plaintiff alleges that its former owner, Urachi “Reggie” Romero, stole the ticket before giving it to Castro and benefiting from it.

Castro’s lawyer has repeatedly denied Rivera’s allegations, insisting that lottery The winner never met either man.

Romero also told The US Sun that he never profited from the victory.

However, Rivera continued his stubborn fight and refuses to give up his demands.

Pasadena police officers even accused Rivera of filing a false police report after an investigation into allegations about the Powerball ticket determined that he wasted department time and resources on frivolous reports.

Rivera, who has pleaded not guilty to the charges, told The US Sun he will fight tooth and nail to prove he is the rightful owner of the billion-dollar ticket.

“I am the legitimate winner, and Castro is the fake one, the liar, the liar,” he told The US Sun in January.

“I’m ready to fight for the world with Castro, I’m excited. He will see for himself, he will be in shock at what is to come.

“See you soon in court, Castro. Liar. You’re going down, Castro.”

Edwin Castro Powerball Winning Timeline

When and why Castro was prosecuted

On November 7, 2022, Castro purchased a winning Powerball ticket at Joe’s Service Center in Altadena, California.

The grand prize was $2.04 billion at the time – the largest in US history.

On February 14, 2023, the California Lottery announced Castro’s win, and he took home a one-time payment of $997.6 million.

Castro’s identity was disclosed, but little information was known about the former mechanic.

In May 2023, Jose Rivera, a California gardener, filed a lawsuit claiming he was the rightful owner of the golden ticket.

Rivera claimed that its former owner Urachi F. Romero stole the ticket before it ended up in Castro’s hands.

Since filing the lawsuit, Rivera has been accused of filing a false police report and was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation by a judge.

However, Rivera pleaded not guilty to the charge, passed the evaluation and continues to defend his story.
