She told celebrity news site TMZ that he had fallen asleep in the vehicle in a parking lot in Arizona and died of heat stroke. Her dog Hans also died.

“It is with great sadness that my family has suffered a loss too soon,” he wrote on Facebook.

“Ben was a great son, brother and uncle. He was fun to be around and made us laugh quite often.

“Still, going through his things, I find myself laughing at little videos or notes of his, between tears.

“My brother Ben was found in his car, along with his beloved service dog Hans, who died on June 13.

“We believe he went there on the afternoon of the 12th to deposit some waste.

“[Found in his car] and I never got out of the car to do it. He fell asleep and died from vehicular heat stroke.”

She told TMZ that her brother suffered from depression, bipolar disorder and a sleeping disorder that often kept him awake for days.
