JOE Biden suffered yet another embarrassing gaffe minutes after a long-awaited press conference when he called Kamala Harris “Vice President Trump”.
Americans waited with bated breath Thursday night as Biden held his first solo news conference since November — and as the president fought off calls to step aside.

Trump immediately called out Biden on Truth Social, joking “Great job, Joe!”
During Biden’s first one-on-one conference since November, which started almost an hour late, Biden made several slip-ups regarding names.
The president mistook his chief of staff for “my commander in chief.”
Former President Trump commented on the error on his own social media platform, Truth Social.
“Crooked Joe begins his ‘Big Boy’ press conference with: ‘I would not have chosen Vice President Trump to be Vice President, even though I don’t think she was qualified to be President,'” Trump wrote.
“Great job, Joe!”
The former president also had some thoughts on the president’s commander-in-chief mess.
“Crooked Joe: ‘I’m following the advice of my commander in chief…my…my…my,’ the business mogul wrote.
During a separate press conference early Thursday afternoon, the president erroneously introduced Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky’s name to Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
The 81-year-old president introduced Zelensky as “President Putin”.
Speaking at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at the Ukraine Compact initiative, Biden said, “I now want to turn the floor over to the President of Ukraine, who has both courage and determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin.”
When greeting Zelensky, who was standing behind him, Biden corrected his mistake.
“I will defeat President Putin, President Zelensky. I’m very focused on defeating Putin,” Biden said.
Biden’s confusion did not stop the new British Prime Minister, Sir Kier Starmer, from praising his performance during a bilateral meeting held at the White House on Wednesday.
“We had a very good bilateral meeting yesterday, we were charged for 45 minutes, we lasted almost an hour, we resolved a large number of issues at a fast pace.”
“He was really in good shape.”
Biden did not appear to be in good shape during a radio interview last week when he called himself a “black woman.”
In a July 5 interview with Philadelphia station WURD, Biden said, “”I’m proud to be, as I said, the first vice president, the first Black woman…to serve with a Black president.”
The president apparently confused his time as vice president under the first black president Barack Obama and his current vice president Kamala Harris, the first black vice president.
Throughout the radio interview, the president also commented on his disturbing performance during the first presidential debate.
“I had a bad debate. But 90 minutes on stage doesn’t erase what I did for three and a half years,” said the president.
Leaders from across the Democratic Party, along with other notable supporters such as actor George Clooney, are calling for Biden to resign following his dismal debate against 78-year-old opponent Donald Trump.
“It’s devastating to say, but he’s not the same man he was and he won’t win this fall,” Clooney wrote in an op-ed published by the New York Times.
“I love Joe Biden. As a senator. As vice president and as president. I consider him a friend and I believe in him.”
“But the only battle he can’t win is the fight against time.”
