Just days before the start of the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, former President donald trump it was ran off a stage in Pennsylvania on Saturday night after shots were fired as he spoke to supporters at a rally.

Trump left the stage looking like he had blood on his ear and cheek. The US Secret Service said in a statement that a suspected gunman fired several shots toward the stage before being “neutralized” by the Secret Service. One spectator also died and two other spectators were in critical condition, according to the agency.

Here’s what we know, and don’t know, about how the incident will affect the RNC’s plans.

When does the RNC start in Milwaukee?

The RNC is scheduled to begin on Monday and continue through Thursday.

Does Donald Trump still plan to come to Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention?

Yes. A joint statement released by the Trump campaign and the RNC Saturday night after the shooting said Trump “looks forward to joining all of you in Milwaukee as we proceed with our convention to nominate him to serve as the 47th President of the U.S”.

When is Trump expected to be officially nominated at the RNC?

Trump is scheduled to formally accept the nomination to run for a second term in the White House during the Republican National Convention on Thursday night at the Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee.

Will the security perimeter change at the RNC after the shooting?

It was not immediately clear Saturday night how security at the RNC might change following the shooting.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers said in a statement posted on .

He added: “We cannot be a country that accepts any kind of political violence – we are not like that as Americans.”
