An explosion outside a “crowded” cafe where fans watched the Euro final is said to have killed five people and injured at least 20.

A car packed with explosives exploded outside a cafe where people were watching the match between England and Spain, according to reports.

Photos and videos posted online show a fireball reportedly outside the cafe following the explosion.

The horror occurred in Mogadishu, Somalia, and local media reports that at least five people died and 20 were injured.

One witness said: “Some of the spectators were injured when they tried to jump over the cafe’s perimeter wall, and others were injured in a stampede.”

Fans inside were watching the highly anticipated Euro 2024 final, where England lost 2-1 to Spain.

The Three Lions narrowly missed out on winning their first major trophy since 1966.

Jude Bellingham was seen angrily booting up a water cooler as players struggled to keep their emotions under control.
