On a day he wasn’t supposed to see, he wasn’t going to miss it.

Trump felt the affection and more among the faithful inside the venue. He carries a prestige that he didn’t have before taking a bullet.

The question is how the emotional response of people at large, shocked and distressed by the spectacle, translates into support beyond Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum.

Most likely it won’t make you lose votes.

The news passes quickly around the ‘Teflon Don’.

During the work trip to Wisconsin, he received a bulletin from home that a Florida judge had dismissed criminal case around classified material.

Of the various charges against him, they were probably the easiest to prove, with an evidence-hardened prosecution case at their center: the documents in question.

The accusation reflects recklessness, at least, regarding national security.

Exposed in a court case, it would harm any candidate running for the White House.

And now Elon Musk has pledged to support Trump’s campaign to the tune of $45 million a month.
