Greenwood performed his song “Holdin’ a Good Hand” after having already used his well-known hit “God Bless the USA” on Monday, when former president and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made his first public appearance since a shooting at his rally in Pennsylvania this left him and two others injured and another man dead.
The song was the only one Greenwood sang on Tuesday, before closing with: “We will re-elect Donald Trump as the next president of the United States.”
On Monday, Greenwood had even more to say.
“Prayer works. This faith-based nation. Prayer works. Because he was sure, when Donald Trump turned his head slightly, that the bullet hit him just enough to save his life and be the next president of the United States,” Greenwood said. he said.
