The president of the United States was due to deliver a speech to UnidosUS, the nation’s largest Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization, in Las Vegas later today.
mr biden is experiencing mild symptoms, the White House said, including “general malaise” from the infection.
He will return to Delaware to self-isolate and from where he will “continue to fully perform all of his duties during that time,” press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said.

Biden, who faces increasing pressure to drop out of the presidential race because of his age, was not wearing a mask when he boarded Air Force One from Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas.
When asked by the press how he felt, the 81-year-old responded: “Good. I feel good.”
He then cautiously climbed the stairs to his plane.
An official said Biden developed upper respiratory symptoms this afternoon, including a runny nose and cough.
The president is vaccinated and reinforced, they added.
