The store left customers a farewell note before locking its doors for the last time on Sunday night.

“Our location is closing,” the note says to read.

“Our time at this location is coming to an end.

“We love being part of this community and are grateful to be here!”

The message encouraged shoppers to make one last visit to the store before it closed for good.

The 14th Street store in Northwest Washington closed permanently on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

The chain signed its farewell note with “your sweat, lululemon 14th Street.”

The parting note doesn’t explain why this particular location closed, but it doesn’t appear to be tied to sales numbers.

The company has not yet confirmed the reason for the location’s closure, but the move comes less than a week after it was robbed.

Shoplifting in the US has become a growing problem.
