Snoop Dogg will carry the Olympic torch in the final stages of its journey, just before heading towards the Eiffel Tower.
The American rapper, whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr, is in Paris as a special correspondent for the NBC network, associated with Sky.
Snoop, 52, shared a photo of himself outside City Hall’s Hotel de Ville with the caption: “Are you ready? Paris 2024 Olympics already digggg.”
He will carry the torch through the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, where the local mayor said there will be a concert by French Eurovision 2024 star Slimane in front of the Cathedral Basilica.
He also said it would be “the last step before the Eiffel Tower.”
