Ava Kris Tyson, one of YouTube star MrBeast’s friends and collaborators, left the channel after harassment allegations, which she denies.

He youtuber28, was accused earlier this month of sending inappropriate messages to a minor, allegedly 13, when she was 20.

Tyson, who has denied the allegations, announced that he had “mutually decided that it is best to permanently step away from anything related to MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and my mental health.”

“I would like to apologize for any of my past behaviors or comments if they hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intention,” he said.

Tyson added: “I never groomed anyone. The person coming up with these allegations has openly supported that they are false.

“That being said, I humbly apologize to anyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts, past actions, and to those who may feel betrayed by how I used to act online.

“Bundling these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad, cheeky jokes is disgusting and did not happen.

“In recent years I have learned that my old mood is not acceptable. I can’t change who I was, but I can continue working on myself.

“I don’t want these accusations to affect the hundreds of people who work in MrbeastThat’s why I walked away.”

The allegations first surfaced in a YouTube video last month.

The alleged victim, whose name was identified online, said the videos claiming Tyson set him up “are massive lies and distort the truth.”

“Ava never did anything wrong and only made some cheeky jokes. I was never exploited or taken advantage of,” she added.

“This situation alienates children who are actively exploited every day online. I am not a victim of anything stated in these videos or anything at all.”

In 2023, Tyson shared that he was transgender and had begun receiving gender-affirming hormone therapy. He has regularly received transphobic abuse online.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, has not commented on the allegations.
