Since then, the 28-year-old has been criticized for a series of racist posts online, including his use of the n-word in a live-streamed video that resurfaced this week.

MrBeast has broken his silence on his disgraced co-host, saying he is “disgusted”.

“Over the past few days, I have become aware of the serious allegations regarding Ava Tyson’s online behavior and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts,” said the YouTuber whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson. he wrote in X.

“During this time, I have focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation and ensure I have all the facts.

“That being said, I have seen enough online and have taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel and any association with MrBeast.

“I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.

“I will give independent investigators the time necessary to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any additional action based on their findings.”

The two have been friends since childhood and Donaldson hired Tyson to work with him on creating content on social media.

The hugely popular YouTube channel has amassed over 305 million subscribers.

However, on Tuesday, Tyson said he would no longer contribute.

“I would like to apologize for any past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended people,” she wrote on X.

“I did not mean that.

“Seeing recent events, we have mutually decided that it is best to permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health.”

Tyson shares a son with his ex-wife Katie Tyson, whom he married in 2018 when the YouTuber was called Chris.

The pair confirmed their breakup in March 2023 and the following month, Tyson revealed that he was transitioning to a woman and on hormone replacement therapy.
