Kamala Harris’ stepdaughter reacted against JD Vance after a clip resurfaced of him calling the vice president one of the Democrats’ “childless cat ladies.”

The Republican vice presidential candidate… chosen by Donald Trump as his running mate earlier this month, attacked Harris and other Democrats for being “a bunch of childless cat ladies… miserable with their own lives and the decisions they’ve made” in a 2021 interview.

“It’s just a basic fact,” Vance told Fox News at the time. “You look at Kamala HarrisPete Buttigieg, A.O.C. [Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez] – The entire future of Democrats is controlled by people without children.

“How does it make sense that we have handed our country over to people who really have no direct interest in it?” Mr. Vance asked.

Ms. Harris, 59, is the mother of two stepchildren, Ella and Cole, with her husband Doug Emhoff.

Since the clip resurfaced, Emhoff’s ex-wife, Kerstin, called the comments “baseless attacks” and told CNN that the vice president is “loving, caring, fiercely protective and always present.”

Meanwhile, Ella shared Kerstin’s comments on Instagram, posting: “How can you not have kids when you have cute kids like Cole and me?”

He then praised his mother for speaking out, saying, “I love all three of my parents.”

Lots of celebrities, including Jennifer Aniston also mocked the Ohio senator for his comments, with the Friends star saying, “I really can’t believe this is coming from a potential vice president of the United States.”

She said on Instagram: “All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is lucky enough to have children of her own one day.

“I hope you don’t need to resort to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take it away from her too.”

In 2022, Aniston revealed to Allure magazine that she had undergone IVF She tried to have children when she was in her 30s and 40s, but the attempts did not result in any pregnancies.

Vance, 39, was one of 46 Republican senators who opposed the IVF Right Act in June, which would have made access to IVF treatment a federal right.

Harris’ campaign also responded to Vance’s comments, saying that “every American has a stake in the future of this country.”

Harris wasn’t the only one about whom the comments were possibly inaccurate. Buttigieg, the Transportation Secretary, announced that he and her husband adopted twins in September 2021, more than a month before Vance made her comments.
