A MAJOR tourist attraction was engulfed in flames on Thursday night, leaving crews struggling to put out the blaze.
Firefighters responded to calls of a fire on the Atlantic City boardwalk around 7 p.m.
The fire reportedly started under the boardwalk near South Tennessee Avenue, authorities said. CBS News.
The flames also reportedly reached a nearby store.
While no injuries were reported, the fire was still not under control as of 9 p.m., according to ABC affiliate WPVI.
The Atlantic City Fire Department did not immediately respond to The US Sun’s request for additional information.
