A FAMILY got a big surprise when they ordered from Burger King on Friday.
After purchasing burgers from the fast food chain, a mother was shocked to discover her daughter’s burger was covered in red.

What her 4-year-old daughter thought was ketchup, which she specifically asked not to put on her burger, was actually blood.
“All I heard was, ‘Mom, I don’t want ketchup,’ so I grabbed her purse, thinking they messed up our order again, and I looked and there was blood all over the burger, all over the wrapper,” Tiffany Floyd told New York Post Office.
“I looked inside the bag, there’s blood on her toys, on everything.”
“So I immediately told her to spit out the food.
“She ate fries and some hamburger.
“And then I looked at my meal and there was blood on mine too.”
Floyd immediately contacted the Burger King he frequented in Getzville, New York, and asked to speak to the manager.
The mother claimed that Dan, the manager, said there was “a cook who cut his hand and was bleeding.”
“And that he was sorry, and if I came back, he would reimburse me.”
Because his daughter ate food possibly contaminated with blood, Floyd contacted his 4-year-old son’s pediatrician.
The doctor said she would need to wait 30 days to do a blood test on her son, to make sure he wouldn’t contract any disease.
After the initial tests, she would need to have a follow-up every few months for a year to ensure there were no further problems.
This entire process stems from the fact that the manager did not inform Floyd who the employee with the cut hand was.
“If they would just make him get tested, my daughter wouldn’t have to get stung,” Floyd said.
The mother’s efforts to draw attention to the bloody shock didn’t stop there.
Floyd also contacted the health inspector to file a report.
The health inspector said he spoke to the same manager who told a similar story.
The manager told the inspector: “Someone cut their finger, but they didn’t think they were bleeding that much.”
The furious mother posted a TikTok about the incident, garnering more than 1.8 million views.
She contacted the corporate office for help and received a response saying that Burger King would pay her medical expenses.
“We told Burger King that the medical expenses were not enough,” Floyd said.
“And how my daughter hasn’t eaten since and my anxiety is through the roof and what if my daughter needs professional help for this.”
The company responded to the incident, saying it was “deeply upset and concerned.”
“We were deeply upset and concerned to learn of this incident. We have contacted the Guest and are working with her to resolve this incident,” Burger King said.
“This incident was the result of a restaurant staff member who injured his finger and, upon realizing it, immediately walked away. We closed the restaurant to retrain all team members and hired an outside company to do a deep cleaning.
“We expect the restaurant to reopen on Monday and are paying team members in full for any shifts missed during this temporary closure.”
