Gaga has not confirmed whether she is engaged. Sky News has contacted a representative for Gaga for comment.

She was first seen with businessman Polansky, 46, at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas in 2019.

The couple confirmed their relationship a few months later on Instagram.

The French prime minister posted the video, taken from the stands of a swimming event, with the caption: “Thank you Lady Gaga for your impressive performance at the opening ceremony. It was impressive.”

Gaga performed the first musical act of the ceremony, accompanied by a host of dancers waving pink pompoms on the steps along the Seine River as she sang Zizi Jeanmaire’s 1961 song Mon Truc en Plumes.

In a social media post, she wrote: “I feel completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris 2024 Olympic Games this year.

“I am also honored that the Olympic Games organizing committee has asked me to sing such a special French song, a song to honor the French people and their tremendous history of art, music and theater.”

She also congratulated the athletes and added that it was a “supreme honor” for her to sing for them.
