An air quality advisory has been issued for Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Armstrong, Washington, western Westmoreland and western Fayette counties on Monday. People with respiratory illnesses, young children, and older adults should avoid excessive exertion outdoors today.
There will be showers or storms on Monday, especially after lunch. At this point, widespread severe weather is not expected, but some storms may bring brief showers and lightning.
Tuesday will bring a slightly better chance for showers and storms. Some of the storms may produce more intense rainfall.
We will be quite unsettled this week, with showers and storms possible every day. However, not everyone will see rain every day.
