‘NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW’

It turns out that President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have proposed major changes to the Supreme Court.

In Biden’s first speech since leaving the presidency racethe president explained the changes.

“For all practical purposes, the court’s decision almost certainly means that the president can violate his oath, disregard our laws and not face any consequences,” he said.

Come as…

“Guys, imagine what a president could do trampling on civil rights and liberties, given this immunity.”

Biden warned that “extremism is undermining public confidence in the court’s decisions,” saying a second Trump administration would lead to a “violent assault on civil rights in America.”

Vice President Harris echoed Biden’s words in a statement, saying, “President Biden and I are calling on Congress to pass important reforms – from imposing term limits on judges’ active service to requiring Judges comply with binding ethical rules, just like any other federal judge.

“And finally, in our democracy, no one should be above the law. Therefore, we must also ensure that no former President has immunity for crimes committed while in the White House.

“These popular reforms will help restore confidence in Courtstrengthen our democracy and ensure that no one is above law.”

The reforms require 18-year term limits and the application of a code of ethics to judges.

Biden also called for a new constitutional amendment that would limit presidents’ immunity.

This is a direct response to the Supreme Court ruling earlier this month that Trump is protected from criminal prosecution for “official acts” undertaken as president.
