Arizona voters on Tuesday will decide prominent federal and state primary contests, including a showdown between Republicans Kari Lake and Mark Lamb for U.S. Senate, a six-way Democratic contest in Arizona’s 1st Congressional District and battles in both sides of the political aisle for a number of contested legislative seats.
Locally, several county offices will see heated primaries and Mesa voters will weigh in on a crowded field of city mayoral candidates.
Polling locations will be open from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday for in-person voting and for early voters to continue dropping off ballots.
The polls are open until 7pm. The first election results will be available shortly after 8pm, on election.azcentral.com.
