A mother-of-two fatally collided with a sound truck after a rival cyclist allegedly cut her off during a race.
The horror unfolded as the competitors raced towards the finish line.

Images taken by a spectator appear to show how a cyclist came very close to Jaiane Souza Oliveira Fernandes after overtaking her.
The maneuver forced Jaiane, 34 years old, to divert to a sound truck parked at the Baianópolis racetrack, north of Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
The impact caused a stack of the truck’s speakers to fall on top of her on Sunday.
Another competitor also collided with the sound truck and was knocked off his bike, but was unharmed.
Doctors at the scene rushed towards Jaiane and gave her first aid, as reported in Need to know.
She was then taken to a local hospital in critical condition, but sadly died there a short time later.
When police inspectors arrived at the scene to investigate, the sound truck was no longer there.
Jaiane was deeply passionate about cycling and frequently participated in local cycling competitions.
She leaves behind her husband, who also participated in Sunday’s competition, and twin boys.
The organizers, Dubai Bikers, he wrote on social media: “The loss of this special person leaves a deep void in our hearts.”
“May his memories and legacy bring comfort and strength.”
Jaiane’s funeral, which was attended by dozens of fellow cyclists, was held in Luís Eduardo Magalhães on Monday.
The Baianópolis police are investigating the case.
On a publish on Instagram, a procession of cyclists can be seen paying homage to their companion.

Fernandes took part in the sixth annual mountain bike race that covered a variety of terrains.

The video recorded at the event shows Fernandes during the road cycling race, when she was interrupted by a competitor and collided with a sound truck.
Several other users also posted their condolences.
