Westlake Police Department officers responded to the corner of Crocker and Center Ridge roads around 8:20 p.m. on July 24 after a caller said there were three donkeys near the road, our CBS affiliate reported. WOIO-19 reported.

Crews found the donkeys near Evergreen Westlake Cemetery.

WOIO-19 reports that the donkeys escaped from a nearby greenhouse.

Body camera footage shows officers walking up to the donkeys and talking about how they will handle them safely.

The police ended up calling the donkey’s owners, who were able to help corral the animals back to their quarters.
