A ROCKET attack could explode in Israel within hours, as the region prepares for Iran’s axis of evil to launch a massive revenge attack.

Israel ousted two top Iranian commanders last week and there are now fears that a huge conflict in the Middle East is imminent.

The Western ally is surrounded by a “ring of fire” with Iran’s puppets, Hezbollah, emboldened by its arsenal of thousands of missiles.

Senior Hezbollah commander Fuad Shukr was surprised last week in Lebanon, just hours before Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh was evacuated in the Iranian capital, Tehran.

Iran has vowed revenge, leaving the Middle East in a difficult situation as foreign governments urge citizens to leave the region.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told G7 countries that Iran and Hezbollah could launch an attack on Israel within hours, but it was not clear how or precisely when, according to the US news service Axios.

Israel believes it faces a seven-front war with Iranian-funded forces, wreaking havoc in Lebanon, Yemen, Iraq, Syria, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, as well as in Iran itself.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu described the coalition as “Iran’s axis of evil.”

He said last Wednesday: “This is an existential war against a dominance of terrorist armies and missiles that Iran would like to clamp down on our necks.

“Challenging days are before us. Since the attack in Beirut, we have heard threats from all sides.

“We are prepared for any scenario and will remain united and determined against any threat.”

Iranian researcher Dr. Raz Zimmt told The Media Line that the question is not whether Iran will retaliate, but how important the response will be.

He said: “This time we may see a joint attack by Iran with other proxies.

“Iran will likely use UAVs and cruise missiles, but will likely do so from a wider geographic area than in April, when Iran launched its attack from the same area.

“If Israel is drawn into a broader conflict, the most substantive threat will come from Hezbollah, but a multifront confrontation is definitely on the agenda.”

Iran’s “ring of fire” made war “inevitable”, according to Professor Uzi Rabi, a Middle East expert at Tel Aviv University.

He told the Jerusalem Post: “There is an existential threat and it needs to be addressed as one body.

“Hamas is already paralyzed in every way and this is how terrorist organizations are defeated. Hezbollah is bigger and more robust.

Former military general and intelligence expert Yossi Kuperwasser told the Israeli media outlet that the chances of an all-out war were not small.

He said: “Iran has a wide range of options for its retaliation.

“All parties understand that the chances of this conflict deteriorating into a full-scale regional war are not small, despite everyone saying they have no interest in that.”

It is estimated that Hezbollah has an arsenal of around 150,000 rockets at its disposal thanks to Iranian support.

US President Joe Biden was due to hold a crucial national security meeting on Friday and will then speak to King Abdullah of Jordan about the escalating tension.

The Foreign Office has been urging the British to leave Lebanon, with troops sent to Cyprus in the event of an emergency evacuation mission.

Meanwhile, Canada told all citizens of Israel to leave.

More US fighter jets and warships are on their way to the region.

White House deputy national security adviser Jonathan Finer told CBS this was an attempt to prevent further attacks.

He said: “The overall objective is to lower the temperature in the region, deter and defend against these attacks and avoid regional conflicts.”
