Jason Selvig, part of the comedy duo “The Good Liars,” exposed the apparent emptiness of a donald trump a supporter’s hatred for CNN when he grilled him about exactly why he despised the network.
Selvig questioned the man wearing a T-shirt that showed former president and presumptive Republican Party presidential candidate Trump — as the cartoon character Calvin — urinating on the CNN logo in the video shared on social media Thursday.
The man criticized “CNN fake news”, said that Trump will “cook” and “destroy” it like “a turkey” in next week’s presidential debate that will be held between Trump and President Joe Biden.
Trump, who for years has criticized CNN’s critical coverage of him, will also “expose” the network for the “fraud that it is,” the man added.
Selvig challenged the man about “what specifically” the network lied about.
“I don’t know. I don’t watch it,” he replied, before laughing.
Selvig responded: “Okay, well you have a shirt that is peeing on you and you call it fake news. So what specifically did they lie about? What makes it fake news?”
“I don’t know, I don’t watch it. I watch Fox News,” the man replied.
“Right. But you call it fake news. Why do you think it’s fake news? What are they saying that’s fake?” Selvig prodded again.
The man hesitated and then turned around silently.
“Okay. There you go,” said Selvig.
