Hamas on Sunday called on U.S., Qatari and Egyptian mediators to implement a ceasefire plan for Gaza put forward by U.S. President Joe Biden rather than holding “further talks.”
“Hamas calls on mediators to present a roadmap to put into action what has been proposed to Hamas… based on Biden’s vision and UN Security Council decisions, and to force the occupier (Israel) to implement it, rather than holding more talks or presenting new proposals,” the Palestinian movement said in a statement.
