The Trump campaign reacted to the post with a folded hands emoji.

Former President of the United States Donald Trump was interviewed today by billionaire Elon Musk on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The interview got off to a rocky start and was postponed 40 minutes after the Tesla boss announced there had been a cyberattack on his social media platform. The two businessmen discussed a variety of topics ahead of the US election, including immigration, layoffs, the attempted assassination of Trump and climate change. In the midst of this, Musk invited US Vice President, Kamala Harris, for a chat on X Spaces.

He took to the microblogging platform and wrote, “Happy to host Kamala on an X Spaces too.”

Since being shared, her post has generated several reactions online.

The Trump campaign reacted to the post with a folded hands emoji.

One person joked: “The same chance of her agreeing to come is the same as me meeting Abraham Lincoln tomorrow morning.”

“It would be very smart of her to do this. Significantly simpler logistics than holding a rally, with a much greater potential impact. I’m sure you would be a fair interviewer,” one person said.

One user stated: “Freedom of speech! @VP should 100% do this. The American people deserve to hear your opinion on issues!”

Meanwhile, the Republican candidate criticized Harris and said: “The number of illegals that Kamala (Harris) has welcomed into our communities is much higher than we think.” He told Elon Musk: “Countries are emptying their prisons – and sending them to our country. They are bringing crime and violence into our backyards,” he said.

In a separate comment, he also said the country “will go bankrupt” if it wins the US election in 2024. “We don’t have a president right now – and Kamala is even worse. That city destroyed California and will destroy our country if elected,” said Donald Trump.

Reacting to the same, Mrs. Harris’ presidential campaign issued a statement on. They said: “Donald Trump’s extremism and dangerous Project 2025 agenda is a feature and not a campaign flaw of his, which was on full display for those unlucky enough to listen tonight during whatever was on X .with.”

They added: “Trump’s entire campaign is in service of people like Elon Musk and himself – self-obsessed rich guys who will sell out the middle class and who won’t be able to do a live broadcast in the year 2024.”
