Gangster Goldy Brar was not killed in a California shooting on Wednesday, US police clarified amid a whirlwind of speculation on social media platforms. The notorious gangster is the main accused in the murder of singer Sidhu Moose Wala and also orchestrated attacks on Salman Khan.

Rumors of his death first surfaced on social media Wednesday morning and then spread like wildfire across news sites. Videos of the shooting also went viral, further fueling the frenzy. However, upon investigation, it was discovered that these videos were old recordings, unrelated to the incident in California.

The narrative that went viral on social media suggested that Goldy Brar, along with associates of gangsters Pavit Singh and Jaggoo Bhagnapuria, were involved in a fight at a club in Fresno, California. During the altercation, gunshots erupted, resulting in Brar’s death, rumors said. Gangster Arsh Dalla allegedly claimed responsibility for the murder.

Simultaneously, reports emerged of a shooting in Fresno, where two individuals were shot and hospitalized in critical condition. However, the identity of the victims has not been revealed by California police.

Later that day, Lt. William J Dooley of the Fresno Police Department clarified that the Fresno shooting victim was not Goldy Brar, debunking rumors circulating online.

“If you are asking because of the online chatter that claims the shooting victim is ‘Goldy Brar,’ we can confirm that is absolutely not true,” Dooley told the media.

Security agencies in India expressed similar sentiments, stating that they had no information about Goldy Brar’s death.

Following the denial, California law enforcement agencies investigated an April 30 shooting to determine the truth behind the allegations. The focus shifted to determining whether Goldy Brar was in fact shot after a fight or whether another individual was involved in the shooting.
