A DESPERATE search is underway for three tourists who went missing while camping in Mexico.
American Jack Carter Rhoad and Australian brothers Jake and Callum Robinson were last seen near the town of Ensenada, about 60 miles south of Tijuanaon April 29th.

The three tourists are believed to have been surfing and camping in Punta San Jose, near Ensenada, before they disappeared, the Baja California prosecutor’s office said.
They were traveling in a white Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck, found near a farm south of Ensenada, according to Mexican police.
The travelers were reported missing after failing to show up at their planned accommodation over the weekend.
On Thursday, Mexican police found tents believed to belong to tourists.

State prosecutor Maria Elena Andrade Ramirez said authorities are questioning three people.
Ramirez did not name the three people as suspects, but said some are directly linked to the case, while others are indirectly linked.
“At this time, a team of investigators is at the location where it appears they were last seen, where tents were found along with some evidence that may be related to these three people included in the investigation,” Ramirez said in a statement. press conference on Thursday.
The mayor of Ensenada, Carlos Ibarra Aguiar, said in a press release that among those questioned was a 23-year-old woman.
The unidentified woman was carrying drugs and a cellphone with a wallpaper photo of one of the missing tourists, Aguiar said.
The other two individuals were brothers, one of whom was romantically involved with the woman, according to ABC News Australia.
The mayor said authorities are searching the areas of La Bocana, a beach area in Santo Tomas, and Maneadero, a small town.
State Attorney Maria Elena Andrade Ramirez said her office requested assistance from the Mexican Navy.

The Ensenada area is a tourist destination famous for its beaches, warm weather and nightlife, but has been plagued by cartel violence in recent years.
Debra Robinson, the mother of the missing Australian brothers, had a Airbnb booked in the Rosarito neighborhood after the camp, but never showed up.
The mother also raised concerns about her son Callum’s diabetes.
Jake, 30, and Callum, 33, Robinson are from Perth, Western Australia.
Mexican authorities are working closely with American and Australian authorities to try to locate the tourists.
Parents Debra and Martin Robinson said they are heading to the US/Mexico region to be closer to their children’s last location.
“Callum and Jake are beautiful human beings. We love them so much and it breaks our hearts,” the parents told ABC News Australia.
