He died in 2019 while awaiting trial for sex crimes.

The “Little Black Book” of contacts of American financier and notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been put up for sale and is expected to be worth more than $200,000. He kept the names, phone numbers and addresses of several important people in the book. Some names include former US President Donald Trump, Robert F Kennedy Jr and lawyer Alan Dershowitz, according to a report by New York Post Office.

Details of 221 individuals who are not included in the better-known later version, initially released by Gawker in 2015, are contained in the personal address book. Bill Panagopulos, owner of Alexander Historical Auctions, told the outlet that there has been a lot of interest in the book. “As far as I know, Mr. Epstein’s estate is in no way involved. As for the proceeds of the sale, I can say with great confidence that they will go to a party that does not, nor has ever had any connection with Mr. Epstein or anyone named in the book,” he said.

The forensic document examiner dated the 64-page address book to 1997 and said it contained a total of 349 names. Similar to Epstein’s other book, a large number of people included denied ever knowing or being associated with the financier.

At the Company Website, the item description states that the book is bound in black plastic and has dimensions of 4.5 x 5.25 inches. The entries are printed copies that “have probably been reduced in size to accommodate this rather small binding.” The bidding started on Wednesday and will last a month.

The auction house said the names have “hand-applied black markings and five have been highlighted in yellow.” The names are “well-recognized financial and industrial figures,” including Trump. However, it is not known what the marked and highlighted names mean. Furthermore, it also contains “a lot of information that suggests Epstein’s sordid past.”

The auction company claims that a Manhattan musician found the book for sale when it was on the sidewalk on Fifth Avenue in the mid-1990s. The book remained with the woman, who only realized it belonged to Epstein in 2020, when she was organizing your deposit. She contacted several media outlets, but none of them responded. A doctoral student later ended up purchasing the book from an eBay listing and has kept it ever since.

The auctioneer stated that the identity of each bidder will be kept confidential. If the seller refuses the higher price offered, the book will be put up for public auction in July.
