A married television anchor in Louisiana has resigned after being caught having sex with someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl. According toNew York Post Office, The case came to light after 59-year-old Bill Lunn arranged to meet the alleged minor at his home during lunchtime on May 29. predator hunters” who conducted a sting operation for pedophilia.

The anchor called the police and claimed that the men were there to beat him and tried to steal his car. However, the group waited and told responding agents their side of the story and provided evidence to support their claims.

One of the men revealed he had created a fake profile on the dating app Meet Me and had been posing as a teenager for several weeks in a bid to “pick up fish” with local men trying to meet underage girls for sex. The trio said Lunn began having an affair with the teenage suspect on May 28, the night before they were scheduled to meet.

“They had a little chat and he asked how old she was. The girl told him she was 15 years old. He was like sending her pictures. He was saying he wanted to do this to her. Explicit things I can’t say on camera”, Antonio Coleman, one of thepredator hunters,” he told NBC 6.

When the trio told him that he was exposed, the anchor allegedly tried to escape.

”As Bill was running away, he shouted, ‘I have a wife and kids, I’m sitting there while he runs away, like in my head,’ How can you say that when you walked into the house expecting to find an underage teenager?” said Kataurio Grigsby, another member of the group.

Notably, Lunn began working at KTSB in 2019 and was promoted to news director last August, according to his LinkedIn profile. He served as news director and featured personality at KTBS in Shreveport.

His lawyer, Dhu Thompson, said The post that his client denies the allegations.

“It is our preliminary understanding that this incident was not the result of a police investigation, but rather an investigation carried out by private individuals. Our main concern at this time is that law enforcement receive all the evidence surrounding this incident so they can do a full and thorough review. Lunn has cooperated with authorities and strongly denies any allegations of wrongdoing. We hope that after a thorough review of all the evidence surrounding this matter, Mr. Lunn will be found innocent and cleared of all charges,” the attorney said in a statement.

Shortly after the allegations surfaced, the television station launched an internal investigation, after which he resigned on Monday.

No charges had been filed in the incident as of Wednesday.
