Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the US presidential election, has been busy with the 2024 US election campaign. But if the 78-year-old becomes president, he might not see his wife Melania Trump in action much.
Melania Trump made a deal with the former US president, reported Page six.
“Melania has made a deal with her husband that if he wins the presidency, she will not have to work as first lady 24/7,” a source was quoted as saying.
The report added that the former first lady made the deal because she wanted to spend more time with her son Barron Trump. The 18-year-old will soon be moving to a university in New York City, and Melania Trump wants to help him adjust to his new life.
“She is a hands-on mom and already plans to spend part of each month — and potentially every week — in New York,” the source added.
The source continued: “Barron has never been completely alone before — and with the added stress of him being a freshman in college and potentially the son of a president in a predominantly Democratic town, [Melania] wants to be close… The additional attention he will receive if his father is president worries Melania, who is also worried about the reaction at her school about Barron’s ever-present Secret Service. [detail].”
Melania Trump has been “an extremely protective mother” and “even rejected the idea that Barron would serve as a Republican delegate in the [Republican National Convention] of Florida,” the report added.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump and Joe Biden are voting side by side ahead of the Nov. 5 vote as they try to woo any Americans who are still adjusting their decision.
