The 78-year-old man had just begun his speech when shots rang out and hit his right ear.

Donald Trump survived an assassination attempt last night during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Several videos filmed by passersby and video journalists showed what happened before, after and the moment Trump was shot. Now, a four-month-old video predicting the attack on the former US president has resurfaced online.

In a video posted to YouTube on March 14, Bradon Biggs spoke about a supposed divine vision he had about the attempt on Trump’s life. Biggs has a YouTube channel where he frequently posts videos about “prophetic visions and warnings.”

“I saw an attempt on his (Donald Trump) life. This bullet passed by his ear and came so close to his head that it burst his eardrum, and I saw that he fell to his knees during this period and began to worship the Lord,” he said.

The 78-year-old man had just begun his speech when shots were fired that hit his right ear and stained his face with blood. He fell to his knees behind the podium. When he appeared about a minute later, he muttered “Fight! Fight! Fight!” pumping his fist in the air.

Many X users are now posting the clip of Biggs in which he also claims to have seen Trump “winning the presidency.”

The Federal Bureau of Investigation identified 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks as the “subject involved” in the attempted murder.

One rally participant was killed and two other spectators were injured in the shooting. The suspect was shot dead by a Security Services agent.

The shooting occurred less than four months before the Nov. 5 election, when Trump faces an electoral rematch with Democratic President Joe Biden. Most opinion polls, including Reuters/Ipsos, show the two are in a tight race.

It was the first shooting of a U.S. president or major party candidate since the 1981 assassination attempt on Republican President Ronald Reagan.

The incident raised immediate questions about security failures by the Secret Service, which provides lifetime protection to former presidents, including Trump.
