The Secret Service, responsible for protecting US political leaders, has faced backlash.

A tilt of the head to view a graph microseconds before the bullet hit saved former US President Donald Trump from certain death.

A TikTok account, PointConsciousness, tracked the trajectory of the ballistics with a graphic showing how the head tilt saved Trump from losing his life at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Nearly two seconds before the bullet impacted, the right side of Trump’s head was in the path of the shot. A second later, the former US president leaned to the left and tilted his head slightly to the right – the bullet from the AR-15 rifle grazed his right ear, with blood splashing onto his face.

How a Chart Saved Mr. Trump’s Life

Trump, a hard-liner on immigration issues, told Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson, also a doctor, a few hours after the assassination attempt how a chart saved his life. In an interview with New York TimesJackson recounts what Trump told him over the phone.

The graphic presented statistics on immigration during President Joe Biden’s regime.

Trump credited the Border Patrol with “saving his life.” He was referring to a graph with immigration statistics on a screen to his right. He tilted his head to take a look at the graph, and that’s when the bullet hit his ear, narrowly missing his head.

Jackson’s nephew was also injured at the rally, he wrote in the X. “Fortunately, his injury was not serious and he is fine. My family was sitting at the front, close to where the president was speaking. The nephew then realized that there was blood on his neck and something had scratched and cut his neck. He was treated by service providers in the medical tent. Thank you to everyone who got in touch to see how he was doing.

“The President and the survivors are lucky to be alive,” he added.

‘Confusion and fear set in’

The mood was upbeat and “there didn’t seem to be anything wrong,” Jason Vecchio, a man who attended the Trump campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday, told NDTV. Vechhio, who was 150 steps away from the stage, said it was a very positive experience until the former president was shot and then a kind of “confusion and fear set in.”

“Those bullets whizzed past him, hit the machine and the boom came down because it hit a hydraulic line. We see the Secret Service jump on top of him, to shield and protect him. happening. It looked like a shooting because I was close to firearms. We went down and I heard the shooting stop. At that point, I ran to the fence, jumped over the fence, and took cover under a police car just because it wasn’t there. unclear whether there was a secondary shooter or whether a shooter was in the crowd. No one had any idea where the shooter was. So I just wanted to be in the safest place I could.

“And then we all saw Trump stand up and put his fist in the air and we all stood up and started singing. It was quite an experience. It was a very moving moment to see him stand up after we all thought he had died.” And then I went to the fence and went to my friends and together we opened the fence and started funneling everyone through the exit,” Vechhio said, recounting what he saw at the event.

‘Snipers spotted shooters before attack’

The assassination attempt changed the course of the presidential election campaign, with the Republican Party more united and supporting its candidate, Donald Trump. Investigative agencies are still looking for clues as to what led the bandits to attack Trump.

The Secret Service, responsible for protecting US political leaders, has faced backlash over how an armed man pointing an assault rifle was allowed to take up position on a rooftop about 150 meters from Trump.

Footage emerged of people spotting the gunman on the roof and trying to alert security before he opened fire. According to CBS News, there were three shooters stationed inside the building used by the shooter. The operations plan had them inside the building looking out the windows toward the Trump rally. Crooks grabbed a rangefinder and the Secret Service sniper radioed the command post, CBS News reported.

Officers believe the shooter may have used an air conditioning unit to climb onto the roof.
