Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced plans to open a new luxury resort and branded residences on the Bukit peninsula in Bali, Indonesia.
Scheduled for 2027, the project is a collaboration with real estate developer Harmoni Bali.
Mandarin Oriental, Bali will feature 110 suites and villas, each designed to blend into the natural surroundings, offering private terraces or gardens, and most with private pools.
The property will offer unique dining experiences, including a cliffside restaurant and bar, a Chinese specialty restaurant, a bar, a spa and a beach club.
Design Lab Architects and Jeffrey Wilkes are responsible for the architecture and interiors, while the landscaping was done by Bill Bensley.
The resort will also feature wellness facilities including heat and water therapies, outdoor pools, private cabanas and a fitness center with outdoor yoga spaces.
It also offers a range of leisure activities such as Kids Club, tennis and padel courts, water sports, organic garden and sustainability laboratory.
The hotel is a 30-minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport and is close to tourist destinations such as Jimbaran, Uluwatu and Sanur.
It is also next to the Bukit Pandawa Golf Course and close to the Bali National Golf Club.

The brand’s residences within the resort will include 68 private villas, with three to six bedrooms and situated on an 8-hectare plot above the hotel.
In addition to resort amenities, residents will have access to exclusive clubhouse amenities including a lounge, shared workspace, function areas, private gym and pool.
Last month, Mandarin Oriental reached the significant milestone of 40 operational hotels worldwide, following the opening of two properties in Mayfair, London; and Muscat, Oman.
