Gisele Bundchen left her social media followers stunned with the photos she shared of a recent visit to a special place that some fans described as “heaven on Earth.”
As the supermodel revealed in her Instagram Carousel On Sunday, July 28, she recently visited Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, along Brazil’s northern Atlantic coast. The picturesque place, known among some as “the sheets” for the appearance of sheets seen from above, features lagoons made of rainwater that are tucked between white sand dunes.
Bündchen, 44, began her post with an image of her reclining on one of these dunes, her right leg bent at the knee as she pressed her back against the sand and rested her arms above her head. She wore a black swimsuit for the photo, which showed one of the lagoons that stretched between the dune she was relaxing on and another one nearby.
Then, a video filmed inside a helicopter captured the stunning view from above, giving an idea of how far the dunes and lagoons stretch. Later, Bündchen included a photo of herself wearing a red bikini while standing inside one of the lagoons, her hair wet after a recent swim to the surface as she stood in blue water that reached above her knees. His 10-part post ended with a view of the national park at sunset.
“I always dreamed of visiting Lençóis Maranhenses,” Bündchen shared in the Instagram caption. “Brazil is so beautiful!”
Fans fully agreed with the beauty of the “incredible” location.
