For the animated video, the mother of three wore a black and white striped Ralph Lauren blouse.

The outfit, which originally retailed for £85, has been a part of Kate’s wardrobe since 2013.

Kate was first seen wearing it while shopping in Anglesey, North Wales, in August 2013.

She later wore it to an official SportAid charity event at London’s Olympic Park two months later.

In the recent video, Kate is seen wearing a minimal amount of jewelry, with just a thin silver choker necklace and no earrings.

Royal fans noticed she was wearing a new band on her wedding ring finger, leading many to think it was an eternity ring.

It was just a fleeting glimpse of the apparently gold ring and it appeared to be studded with diamonds and sapphires, which would match the royal engagement ring that once belonged to Princess Diana.

Taking to Royal Fashion Police’s Instagram post, commenters were quick to speculate about the ring.

One said: “The sapphire anniversary/eternity band is a great alternative to your engagement ring.

“It’s nice to have a ring with a lower profile for everyday casual wear.”

Key sign that Princess Kate ‘could return to public life next month’ proves she is ‘clearly doing much better’, says royal expert

Replying to that message, another added: “I think it’s beautiful and probably a more reasonable ring for everyday wear.”

Another wrote “This sapphire bracelet looks much more practical for daily life and is beautiful.”

Anya Walsh, jewelry specialist at 77 diamondsEurope’s largest online diamond jeweler, told The Sun: “From what we can see in the video, Kate’s new ring appears to be a wide eternity band with alternating diamonds and gemstones.

“They could be deep blue sapphires or a darker type of red ruby.

“A wonderful piece to pair with other rings, this design also complements Kate’s sapphire engagement ring, contrasting the clear white finish of the diamonds with a hint of gemstone color.

“The setting appears to be yellow gold, which can add a lot of warmth to the design and is the ideal choice when it comes to colored gemstones.

“We will no doubt see more of this ring in the future as it is perfect for everyday wear.”

In the short clip of the royal couple, Prince William, who was wearing an official blue Team GB top, stood next to her and looked unshaven.

Kate said: “From all of us watching at home, congratulations to Team GB.”

William added: “Congratulations to Team GB, you have been an inspiration to us all.”

Alongside the footage, the royal said: “Well done @teamgb what an incredible journey.

“Each athlete demonstrated immense dedication, heart and passion. You made us very proud.

From all of us watching at home congratulations to Team GB

Kate’s message to British Olympians

“Here’s to celebrating every @paris2024 triumph and looking forward to more from @paralympicsgb_official later in the summer.”

Princess Kate has rarely been seen since she said in an emotional video message that she was receiving cancer treatment.

Kate, meanwhile, made a public appearance at Trooping the Color in June.

She also showed up to watch the Wimbledon men’s singles final with her daughter, Princess Charlotte.

King Charles also called all Olympic athletes “an inspiration” in a moving statement.

The monarch’s message, which arrived just hours before the final moments of the Paris Olympic Games, applauded his “remarkable successes” and highlighted his “raw talent, true courage and hard work”.

Also appearing in the Prince and Princess of Wales’ video were a host of famous faces, all giving a message of support.

Former England captain David Beckham said: “Hey Team GB, we are so proud of you, congratulations.”

Broadcaster Gabby Logan added: “You’ve been amazing. Thank you very much for everything. These memories will last a long time.”

Michael Johnson, the retired US sprinter and broadcaster, said cheekily: “Great job Team GB, you did a great job, not as good as us in the US, but very good.”

Former Welsh athlete Colin Jackson also appeared, who simply said: “You killed it.”

Meanwhile, swimmer Rebecca Adlington said: “Their performances were absolutely fantastic.”

Presenter Clare Balding added: “I know how much you have lifted the nation and I just want to say thank you for that.”

The video ended with American rapper Snoop Dogg, who has been a popular figure at the Games as a special guest host on American broadcaster NBC.

He said: “Thank you, Britain. In the name of Snoop Dogg, the prince and his lovely wife,” before clasping his hands together and bowing his head.
