A gift Kate Middleton loved from William was revealed during a royal trip to Canada.

While this beautiful gift appears to have been a success, not all of William’s gifts were well received by Kate.

The heir revealed the “horrible” gift he bought for his wife and “she will never let him forget it”.

When making an appearance in the former England attacker On Peter Crouch’s BBC Radio Five Live podcast, Wills sheepishly admitted he had already given Kate “a pair of binoculars”.

After Peter confessed to giving his own wife, Abbey Clancy, a raincoat for three years running, William said: “I once bought my wife a pair of binoculars – she never let me forget it.

“That was at the beginning of our relationship – I think it sealed the deal.

“It didn’t work out. I honestly have no idea why I bought her a pair of binoculars, it seemed like a good idea at the time.”

Prince William certainly delivered the goods to Kate when he bought her a stunning £121,000 jewelery set for her birthday.

“It is said to symbolize the intricate beauty of a relationship and the special care it takes to keep it intact, and that seems particularly apt this year for William and Catherine.”

It comes after an adorable photo of Prince Louis taken by Princess Kate was shared on Tuesday to celebrate his sixth birthday.
