Is King Charles really on the road to recovery?
That was the question asked by Alison.
Here’s what Matt said: The king has made it very clear to his aides that he feels he is raring to go after being told his recovery was going well.
There has been optimism since he appeared at the Easter Sunday service. This is the event where he attended mass at St. George’s Chapel and shook hands with around 60 well-wishers. His team said it was a “positive” day.
King Charles’s best gardenertips for your lawn
Jack Stooks – who has been a member of the Highgrove House team for over 20 years – shared how the secret to an immaculate lawn is two very simple products.
Speaking on behalf of Alt Indexthe royal gardener told Fabulous that to get a pristine lawn, you need to use a moss killer.
He explained: “If you want to have a perfectly clean lawn, like a golf course, you can get moss killers.”
Jack explained how you can easily buy one online or in a store – these days Home Bargains is selling one for £4.99.
He continued, “You can find a moss-killing product that you put on your grass, much like most fertilizers, and then you’ll start to notice the browning.”
The royal gardener said the next important step is to rake it before adding some compost to the soil.
Jack continued: “Put some well-rotted compost and some soil mixed in, rake it all up and reseed the area and you just have to keep doing it again.”
Jack also recommended scarifying the grass to initially get rid of the moss.
Judge Strictly Praises King and Princess Kate
Chief judge Shirley Ballas praised the King and Princess Kate for speaking publicly about their cancer treatments.
The TV star, 63, described the pair as inspirational – after she revealed her own breast cancer scare.
She had three biopsies from her left breast last week and is awaiting the results, she told the Sun on Sunday.
Will Meghan ever return to the UK?
That’s what Joanna wanted to know.
Matt replied: Meghan has shown very little interest in doing anything in the UK since Megxit.
Interestingly, the Sussex camp has neither confirmed nor denied whether Meghan will join Harry when he flies out next week.
The Sussex camp carefully worded the announcement that Meghan will not be at the ceremony but will join Harry on his trip to Nigeria. Is she coming or not?
I get the impression the Sussexes are waiting to test the reaction before making a decision or announcement this time. Talks could be taking place in the background, in the vain hope that Meghan could arrive with her children and meet the king.
She could join Harry at other Invictus events held next week. But I think she knows she’s not welcome and that being the center of attention won’t go over well.
Yes, I hope she returns on occasional occasions for important events such as funerals, weddings or coronations, as Wallis Simpson would. But what about next week? Watch this space.
