Natasha updated her LinkedIn page last week to reflect her new royal role.

Previously, the 36-year-old worked as Kate’s personal assistant and stylist and has been a “pillar of strength” for the royal as she undergoes preventive cancer treatment.

Earlier this year, Natasha was one of the few people seen leaving the London Clinic where Kate was staying following her abdominal operation in January.

She is said to have been helping Kate with her travels to and from hospital appointments and is inseparable from the royal mother of three.

A source told the Correspondence: “Natasha deserves this boost – she is unfailingly discreet and loyal to Kate.

“The salary increase will also be welcome. This nomination means we can expect to see Natasha alongside Kate for years to come.

“It seems to be Kate’s way of thanking you for your loyalty.”

Natasha has worked with the Princess of Wales since 2007 and is said to be available night and day to listen to her.

Kate announced the “huge shock” of her cancer diagnosis in March and has not held public engagements since Christmas.

Royal biographer Claudia Joseph, author of Kate: The Making of a Princess, told Fabulous: “Natasha has been by Kate’s side since she joined the royal family and will be a tower of strength for her as she battles cancer.

“She was one of the few people who visited the Princess at the London Clinic and is undoubtedly at her disposal day and night whenever she wants to chat.

“Natasha, who is five years younger than Kate, has been in the princess’s orbit for more than 13 years and has witnessed every important event in her life: she has been by her side at royal weddings, births and trips abroad, she has visited Kate in the Lindo Wing, St Mary’s Hospital, London, following the birth of their children.”

The former fashion designer – who is married to royal photographer Chris Jackson – keeps out of the public eye and is said to have a lot in common with Kate.

Claudia continued: “The couple, who married in 2017 in a medieval mansion near Bordeaux, are naturally low-key so fit the William and Kate ethos.

“The two women have a close bond because they have a lot in common: they both went to board schoolsThey share a love of art and fashion and are mothers – Natasha’s eldest son, Theo, is just a few months younger than Prince Louis.”

According to Grazia, the Queen requested that Natasha be hired as Kate’s stylist to make her wardrobe “regal”.

A source said at the time: “Natasha’s main role is as a social worker, but in recent months she has helped Kate as a style adviser.

“Natasha and Kate get along really well. She has always supported and advised Kate – and the Duchess loves Natasha’s style, so it seemed like an obvious appointment.”

Natasha was responsible for some of Kate’s most iconic fashion looks, with Claudia adding that she encouraged Kate to “experiment with her wardrobe and transform her from Sloane Ranger to style icon.”

The royal biographer added: “It was she who introduced Kate to designer Jenny Packham, who is one of her favourites, and who convinced her to try shorter hemlines, culottes and wide-leg trousers.

“She scours websites for the latest trends, ordering clothes, going through her royal wardrobe and dragging her rolling suitcase around.

“She is known for touching up Kate’s makeup on the plane and reportedly helped William spruce up his wardrobe after he was criticized for looking like a ‘real estate agent.’ “Apparently she got rid of his white Asics sneakers.”

Prince William is a pillar of strength for Kate Middleton

EXPERT analysis from author and real expert, Ingrid Seward.

Steadfast when his family needed him, William proved himself to be a man and future monarch of strength and compassion.

While he may not have been present during Kate’s courageous video speech — make no mistake, he was by her side every step of the way.

William stepped up with schoolwork and provided a “great source of comfort and security” for his wife.

But he has also been a comforting, reassuring presence for audiences.

From leading members of the Royal Family in the Commonwealth Day Service to enjoying lighthearted banter with young people on a visit to a youth center, he didn’t put a foot wrong.

Still, there were few flaws in his façade – but Kate was clearly on his mind.

“She needs to be sitting here to hear this,” he smiled when the discussion turned to the challenges of young families.

But ultimately, he is only human.

Having your father and wife diagnosed with cancer in such quick succession is heartbreaking.

It is a remarkable insight into this young man’s character that he was so incredibly brave.

Theirs is a very private turmoil, which has been brought into the public arena by the nature of their roles as future King and Queen.

William must feel the weight of an enormous responsibility, both personally and to the monarchy, of which he is now the public face.

But he knows his most important role is as a father and husband.

He will make this his priority.

This is a distinct difference from the customs of the past, where your royal role came before the role of spouse and parent.

Think back to when the queen was young.

William’s priority is his family

Back then, it was a man’s world – and she was forced to abandon her children in a way that William is determined not to do.

William and Kate waited until the school term was over and their children were home before making the public announcement.

They needed to be prepared.

In this, they will have the unconditional support of Charles – who knows what it’s like to be raised by nannies.

William was also acutely aware of his father’s lack of presence in his life, especially when things went wrong.

In 1991, he was accidentally hit in the head with a golf club when he was at school and Diana was having lunch at her favorite restaurant, San Lorenzo.

The call came that William had been hit in the head and they thought he might die, so it was very serious.

Charles and Diana rushed to Ludgrove.

William was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital and then to Great Ormond Street Hospital and Diana went with him.

But always a man of duty, Charles prioritized his commitments.

William is determined to do things differently.
