A ROYAL expert has revealed the special moment she loved most at this year’s Trooping The Colour.
Last week, the Princess of Wales, 42, made a stunning return to royal duties when she appeared at Trooping the Color, marking King Charles’ official birthday.
But according to royal insiders, it was cheeky six-year-old Prince Louis who stole the show.
While the young royal turned heads with his cool dancing, Hello royal editor Emily Nash told The Sun’s Royal Exclusive that it was Louis’ interaction with Charlotte that she loved most that day.
The Sun’s royal editor, Matt Wilkinson, explained: “If anyone almost stole the show from the King’s birthday and the Princess of Wales’s re-emergence into the spotlight, it was Prince Louis. We’re getting used to it now.”
Hello royal editor Emily Nash added: “We almost expected it from him now – we were certainly watching to see what he would do next.”
Emily acknowledged the close bond between Louis and his sister Charlotte, as she continued: “What I loved about this year was the interaction between him and Charlotte.”
Not only that, but Emily suspected that the royal may have “talked” to Louis before the event, encouraging him to “get it under control.”
She stated: “I had a feeling that certainly on the balcony of the palace, maybe they had spoken to Louis and talked about trying to control him a little bit, because he seemed to be quite focused.
“But he did the dance moves, there was a bit of dancing – just like any other six-year-old.”
Additionally, Emily and Matt praised Prince William, 42, and Kate Middleton’s parenting of Louis, as well as his siblings Princess Charlotte, nine, and Prince George, 10.
Emily shared, “It’s great to see and I think it’s so relatable to parents across the country, he’s just like any other kid his age.”
To which Matt agreed: “Right now he’s just being a normal kid, he’s not there for our entertainment, he can just be a kid. He is really Cool to attend.”
The Hello editor then highlighted: “This really shows the way William and Kate are approaching their children’s education, they want it to be as normal as possible.

“Yes, they have incredible privileges, but Kate in particular comes from a relatively normal background and I think she is able to share that with children in a way that perhaps royals of previous generations didn’t have access to.”
What is color trope?

SO, what actually is Trooping the Color?
Trooping the Color or ‘The King’s Birthday Parade’ is a military ceremony dating back to the early 18th century or earlier, when battalion colors (flags) were carried (or ‘trooped’) through the ranks so that they could be seen and recognized by those soldiers.
Since 1748, this parade has also marked the Sovereign’s official birthday.
The honor of trooping their color rotates between the five Foot Guards regiments and, this year, it goes to Company number 9 of the Irish Guards.
The Irish Guards were created by Queen Victoria in 1900 and provided almost 125 years of service to the nation.
This year marks the second Troop of the Color of Her Majesty’s reign.
The King took part in his first Trooping the Color in 1951, aged three, traveling in a carriage with his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, and his aunt, Princess Margaret. The King first took part in the parade as Colonel of the Welsh Guards in 1975.
The appearance at Trooping The Color was Kate’s first with the royal family since last year’s Christmas Day at Sandringham.
Kate went to hospital for abdominal surgery in January and spent 13 nights at the London Clinic before continuing her recovery at home with her family.

Days later, she released a video revealing “exams after the operation confirmed the presence of cancer” and that she had started treatment.
Kate’s appearance at the royal event was met with huge applause from adoring fans.
Kate’s message in full

Kate Middleton issued a statement the day before Trooping the Color
Kate said: “I have been overwhelmed by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last few
some months.
“It really made a big difference to William and me and helped us through some of the most difficult times.
“I’m making good progress, but as anyone undergoing chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days.
“On those bad days you feel weak, tired and have to give in
your body resting. But on good days, when you feel your strongest, you want to make the most of feeling good.
“My treatment is ongoing and will last a few more months. On days when I feel good, it’s a joy to participate in school life, dedicate my personal time to the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as getting to do a little work at home.
“I’m looking forward to taking part in the King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hoping to take part in some public engagements over the summer, but also knowing that I’m not out of the woods yet.
“I’m learning to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.
“Thank you so much for your continued understanding and to all of you who have bravely shared your stories with me.”
It was Princess Kate’s first time attending a royal event since she and Charles were diagnosed with cancer.
The two stood next to each other this afternoon, waving to thousands of well-wishers who braved the rainy weather to see them.
The day was marked by rain, but the rains couldn’t dim Kate’s glow as she smiled alongside Prince William and their children.
