“On days when I feel good, it is a joy to participate in school life, to dedicate my personal time to the things that give me energy and positivity, as well as starting to work a little from home.”

Kate stayed at home while Prince William took Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, eight, to the Taylor Swift concert at Wembley Stadium on Friday as he celebrated his 42nd birthday.

Royal editor Emily Nash told The Sun that the Prince of Wales’ recent schedule is a positive indication that Kate’s health is improving.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive programme, the royal expert said: “At the start of this year we were seeing William maybe once a week, and there were a lot of warnings about how long he would stay in an engagement, what time it would be.

“It felt like things were being adapted around their tasks at home.

“And I think the fact that he’s out there more and the fact that we’re seeing Kate herself in action really suggests that they’re making really good progress, which is good to see.”

It has not been confirmed whether the Princess of Wales will attend Wimbledon, as patron of the All England Club.

Typically, the royal mother of three presents the winners with the trophy at an on-court presentation every year.

All England Club president Deborah Jevans told a press conference last Thursday: “Our priority is clearly that our Patron has time to recover and we will certainly not add any additional pressure to her recovery by speculating about her participation in this year’s championship.
