PRINCESS Kate delighted royal fans by attending her first royal event since December at Trooping the Color.
A royal expert has claimed that the layout of Buckingham Palace’s balconies has provided insight into the relationship between King Charles and his “beloved” daughter-in-law.
Last year, King Charles was front and center as he watched the screening next to his son and heir to the throne, Prince William.
However, the lineup was different this year, with the monarch alongside his beloved daughter-in-law, Kate.
Both King Charles and Princess Kate are undergoing cancer treatment, and heartwarming images show them shoulder to shoulder in front of the crowd.
Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive, Royal editor Emily Nash said: “It’s interesting. “So I don’t think it’s particularly choreographed.
“But just the fact that they naturally organized themselves that way.
“And the way they talked was obviously a great affection between them, that they have this shared experience now.
“We know they spent some time together while we were at the same hospital and I think although they were already quite close, this could only have brought them closer.”
Emily added to The Sun’s royal editor, Matt Wilkinson, that the stance could have been a “tacit show of support” between King Charles and Princess of Wales. Wales.
The royal expert added: “I’m sure he was very happy that she was back alongside them all.
“There are fewer of them now, so they can move around a little more freely.
“Back when there were more than 30 people there [the balcony] so it was more a question of where you would be stuck.”
The annual military parade was the first official royal event Kate had attended since Christmas Day, following his cancer diagnosis.
The princess said the diagnosis came as a “huge shock” – but promised: “I’m fine and getting stronger every day.”
Before Trooping the Colour, she said: “I have been overwhelmed by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last few months.
“It really made a big difference to William and me and helped us through some of the most difficult times.
“I’m making good progress, but as anyone undergoing chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days.
“On those bad days you feel weak, tired and have to give in to resting your body.
“But on good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of the feeling of well-being.”
