PRINCE William is returning to public engagements this week for the first time since the Princess of Wales announced she was being treated for cancer.
The couple spent most of their Easter holidays in Norfolk with their children George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five.
Wills, 41, was last seen in public at an event about tackling homelessness in Sheffield on March 19 – three days before Kate’s shock revelation.
The family did not attend the royals’ Easter Sunday service in Windsor.
Just over three weeks ago, the princess made a heartfelt and emotional video statement revealing that she was undergoing preventive chemotherapy.
In her message, she described how William was a “great source of comfort and reassurance” and described how “as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy” while she completed her treatment.
There is no date for its return, although Buckingham Palace garden parties and the Chelsea Flower Show will take place next month.
Tomorrow, the Queen greets survivors of domestic violence at Buckingham Palace.
Camilla, patron of SafeLives, will welcome four teenagers known as Changemakers.
The 75-year-old king, who also has cancer, is resting at Birkhall, Balmoral, but told aides he is “looking forward to going” and ordered them to overload his schedule after responding well to treatment.
