KATE Middleton has impeccable style – and you could replicate one of her stunning looks with a Marks & Spencer dress.
In April 2014, the royals visited Manly Beach in Australia and hit all the right fashion notes wearing an English embroidered dress from Zimmerman.
While Kate’s exact white midi dress sold out years ago, M&S is currently selling a very similar alternative that looks ideal for spring.
And the best part is that the £59 M&S dress is a lot cheaper than the £280 Zimmerman original.
M&S’s pure cotton Broderie Midi Shirt Dress has a similar embroidered material and certainly looks fit for royalty.
Perfect for warmer climates, it’s made from pure cotton, so it’s breathable and lightweight.
Meanwhile, the dress also has a sleek A-line and a waist-flattering tie, and the puff sleeves are a chic addition.
It comes in three lengths, petite, regular and long, and from size 6 to 24.
If white isn’t your color, you can also choose it in a sage green onyx shade.
The dress would look perfect with sandals, sneakers or high heels, and could fit into many spring occasions.
Shoppers were quick to praise how expensive the dress looks, with one person leaving a five-star review saying: “Beautiful dress, very flattering when it’s on and a Cool length.
“Very satisfied with it, I just need the weather to warm up to use it!”
Another added: “I’m 5ft 6in, I brought petite, I changed the belt to beige leather, it looks more expensive, I would wear beige sandals with this dress.”
Some buyers recommended a larger size as they found it to be smaller.
The Princess of Wales is currently recovering from abdominal surgery in January and has not performed royal duties since Christmas.
Original statement from Kensington Palace regarding Kate Middleton’s surgery
KENSINGTON Palace released a statement in January after Kate underwent surgery.
Sources made it clear that Kate would be out of action until at least Easter.
The palace said: “The Princess of Wales appreciates the interest this statement will generate.
“She hopes the public understands her desire to maintain as much normality as possible for her children; and her desire for her personal medical information to remain private.
“Kensington Palace will therefore only provide updates on HRH’s progress when there is significant new information to share.
“The Princess of Wales wishes to apologize to everyone involved for having to postpone her upcoming engagements.
“She hopes to reintegrate as many as possible, as quickly as possible.”
Just over three weeks ago, the princess made a heartfelt and emotional video statement revealing that she was undergoing preventive chemotherapy.
The couple spent most of their Easter holidays in Norfolk with their children George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five.
There is no date for his return, although garden parties at Buckingham Palace and the Chelsea Flower show takes place next month.
