Lip reader Jeremy Freeman analyzed the moment they arrived at court and revealed what was said between the two.

He told The Sun that Princess Kate asked Charlotte to “come over here” as they sat down.

Kate then thanked the lady who accompanied them and began to wave to the crowd, who stood up and applauded.

The Princess of Wales said “hi” to the spectators and then turned to the lady next to her, saying “how cute”.

This was Kate’s first public appearance in almost a month.

She was last seen at Trooping the Color – with Prince William proudly by her side.

Royal fans were delighted to learn she would make a brave public comeback as she underwent cancer treatment.

Tennis bosses have revealed they remain hopeful the Princess of Wales will go to Wimbledon this year.

AELTC president Debbie previously said they were “remaining flexible” about who would present the trophies.

Debbie said Telegraph sport: “We hope that the Princess of Wales can present the trophies as patron of the Club, but her health and recovery are the priority.
