For his sixth birthday, Prince George and his family stayed at the Villa Antilles, for £27,000 a week.

The young royal’s birthday coincided with a family vacation to Mustique in the Caribbean, which is a favorite destination for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

The Sun exclusively revealed how William and Kate spent money to stay in a £27,000-a-week villa – at a total cost of £56,000 for the two-week stay (including mandatory service charge for staff).

The five-bedroom Lux holiday apartment – Villa Antilhas – had a children’s room equipped with two bunk beds, butler, housekeeper and private garden.

Kate and Wills were joined on the island by their parents Mike and Carole – which has been a favorite Middleton holiday destination for years.

The kids stayed in the children’s room, decorated with whales on the walls and complete with an elephant laundry basket.

A friend said in 2019: “Antilles is the newest village on the island and is completely ready for a family.

“Kids who have stayed there before love the bunk beds and child-friendly facilities.

“As the villa is fully equipped, they can also order whatever they want, whenever they want.”

ELITE AMENITIES

Perfect for Prince George and his siblings, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, was the 18-meter infinity of the Villa Antilles poolthat overlooked the ocean.

The house was built in 2016 and is owned by property developer Andrew Dunn – a long-time friend of Prince William.

The family would have the option of having the resident chef provide their meals.

The brochure said: “The focus is on outdoor dining in the West Indies. With a choice of indoor and outdoor dining locations and a trained chef, menus can be tailored to suit all tastes and preferences.”

A sample menu showcased shrimp ceviche, grilled lobster and slow-cooked baby back ribs as the chef’s signature dishes.

An advert for the villa describes it as “an exceptional new contemporary colonial style villa set in Endeavor Hills with captivating views of Bequia and St Vincent beyond”.

ROYAL TIES WITH MUSTIQUE

Mustique has long been a favorite of the Royals and Middleton family – who have been holidaying there for years.

The late Queen and Prince Philip visited in 1966, 1977 and 1985, and David Bowie once owned a villa on the island.

The island, which is part of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, has hosted a number of royal and elite tourists over the years.

The 1,400-acre island was Princess Margaret’s retreat back in the day, along with the likes of Mick Jagger and Cara Delevingne.

On previous trips to the island, William and Kate have played tenniswent snorkeling and scuba diving and enjoyed cocktails at the five-star Cotton House resort.

In addition to going in 2019, Prince William and Kate took their children there in 2018, and Prince George celebrated turning five by learning to swim in the crystal clear waters.

A source said at the time: “It’s as close as they can get without going into the wild, like they did on their honeymoon when they went to an island in the middle of nowhere.

“Going to a place with two bars and a few other people and not feeling totally isolated Mustique is perfect.”

Why you’re unlikely to see real photos of Mustique

PRINCE William and Kate Middleton have already taken their children to soak up the sun on the tropical Caribbean island of Mustique, which is extremely private and discreet.

Privacy is extremely important to the couple, so it’s no wonder they opted for the exclusive 1,400-acre Mustique in years past.

The island has extremely strict regulations when it comes to photography and guests.

A source commented on the fate for Hellostating: “Mustique is very exclusive and the press and paparazzi cannot be within a certain distance of the island, which would explain why you only see grainy, long-lens photos of the royals.

“Security is very strict on the island.”

This claim is supported by the island’s safety information on its website, which says: “Mustique is also one of the most private and safe places in the world, with a first-class medical and security team on the island to ensure that our guests and the community enjoys a carefree island life.

“There are few places left where the house remains unlocked, or in this case, no doors, and car keys are left in the ignition to avoid being lost.”

The website continues: “Every visitor to the island is registered with our security team before arriving on the island by land, air or sea, whether personal, local islander or guest, to ensure the security team knows who is on the island at any given time. time.

“With such conscientious and friendly staff looking after you, rest assured you will never want to leave.”

Day visitors are not permitted to access certain parts of the island, which are reserved exclusively for island guests with proof of accommodation.

VERY PRIVATE ISLAND

The island has a strict no-fly zone, providing guests and residents with complete privacy.

The website says: “Every visitor to the island is registered with our security team before arriving on the island by land, air or sea, whether employee, local islander or guest, to ensure the security team knows who is on the island at any given time. time.

“With such conscientious and friendly staff looking after you, rest assured you will never want to leave.”
