MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry always planned to betray the royal family and their 2018 wedding was proof, according to a royal biographer.

Outspoken royal expert Tom Bower claims the guest list at her highly publicized nuptials revealed Meghan’s “true ambition”.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive programme, Tom said: “We know now, in hindsight, that Meghan never intended to stay.

“His guest list for the wedding showed that his true ambition was to be a star in California and Harry’s friends were redistributed from the guest list on the night of the dinner, so we know the agenda was something the royal family could never really achieve. . deals with.”

Around 250 lucky guests partied with newlyweds Meghan and Prince Harry after their star-studded wedding.

Serena Williams, Carey Mulligan and the cast of Suits were just a few celebrities who attended the party in Windsor.

George and Amal Clooney also made the exclusive list, despite claiming they “didn’t know” the couple.

Meanwhile, some Prince Harry’s long-time close friends were not chosen for the evening party.

One person who was noticeably absent was one of Harry’s oldest school friends, Tom Inskip, known as “Skippy,” who, according to royal authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, questioned Harry’s relationship with Meghan.

In their book Finding Freedom, they wrote: “They were invited to the wedding ceremony and lunchtime reception, but were not selected for the evening party.

“At brunch the day after the wedding, Skippy told his friends ‘Meghan changed Harry a lot.’

“His Eton friend said the prince was impressed by the likes of the Clooneys and Oprah.

“’We lost him,’ concluded Skippy.

“Many of Harry’s old friends said the evening’s guest list was the prince and his bride’s way of saying ‘these are the people we want in our lives from now on’.

Tom told The Sun’s royal editor Matt Wilkinson that he believes Meghan and Harry have had an “extremely negative impact on the royal family.”

He added: “I think the damage is eternal and continues.

“And I think the tragedy is that they tried so hard to help Meghan.

“After all, Charles accompanied her to the wedding at St. George’s Chapel.

“The Queen assigned more than half a dozen people to look after Meghan, trying to help her follow the path of the royal family, but they never managed to win.”

Tom highlighted that, after stepping down as working royals in 2020, Meghan and Harry attacked the family through their interview with Oprah Winfrey and Netflix documentary.

Prince Harry has only been back to the UK a few times since moving to California, including for the funerals of Prince Philip and the late Queen.

He recently returned for a three-day visit to the UK in May for an Invictus event, but did not see cancer-stricken King Charles or Prince William.

A spokesman for Harry said: “Unfortunately this will not be possible due to Her Majesty’s full programme.

“The Duke, of course, understands his father’s schedule and various other priorities and looks forward to seeing him soon.”
