MEGHAN Markle’s Fiji market drama was a “sign of things to come”, claims a royal expert who witnessed the moment.

Meghan was visiting Suva Market with Prince Harry during the 2018 royal visit when her bodyguards intervened.

A Daily Mail reporter who was on the trip says they saw Meghan “turn and ‘hiss’ at a member of her entourage, clearly incandescent with rage about something, and demand to leave.”

They wrote: “Later, I saw that same employee – a woman – highly distressed, sitting in an official car, with tears streaming down her face. Our eyes met and she lowered hers, humiliation etched into her features.

“At the time, I was unable to document anything as I was unable to conclusively link the two incidents, despite my suspicions. I did.”

Now Channel 5’s royal correspondent Simon Vigar has claimed the drama would never have happened to the Queen.

Speaking to The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson on the new Royal Exclusive program, he said he saw the incident happen first-hand.

Vigar said: “I was at the event in Suva market, it was hot but it wasn’t chaos and there was a clear path for Meghan to follow.

“It was supposed to last half an hour to 40 minutes, but it was 15 minutes.

“At some point when she was meeting people, the whole atmosphere within the royal party changed, and I believe that came from Meghan.

“The whole thing really collapsed.”

He added: “Meghan walks past all these people who have lined up for hours to tell her about their business and don’t get to meet her.

“Looking back, it all makes sense, including the hostility towards the British media.

“Meghan’s behavior that day was truly deviant.

“It didn’t look good and it’s not what royalty is all about, I’ve never seen the Queen do that.”

The video showed her being led out of the building, flanked by her new head of security and a Fijian security chief.

She then apparently whispered something to one of her aides before being led away.

Vigar said: “In the end it was being used as security, but it wasn’t. If there had been any security issues, Scotland Yard detectives would not have allowed the event to begin.

“I really felt sorry for the people who wanted to meet her.

“The woman with the gift at the end, she just flies by.

“For us it was a story, but for the palace staff it was a nightmare and they didn’t know what had happened.

“It kind of torpedoed her day in the diary.”

The royal expert said he has seen a number of “strange” incidents of people being “excluded” from photos alongside Prince Harry over the years.

An onlooker at the time reportedly said that Meghan appeared to “look worried” before entering and “looked really nonchalant, not at all like her usual self.”

The witness told the Mirror: “She stopped to talk to a pineapple seller at one of the stalls and had a very blank, non-committal expression on her face, which is very unlike her.

“It was very hot and humid there, so perhaps it wasn’t the best environment for a pregnant woman.

“After speaking for about a minute, she stopped and spoke again to the same advisor before being removed from the market shortly afterwards.”

At the time, the reason given for the abrupt end to his walk was that the crowd had become too large to control.

However, Meghan, then 39, was reportedly concerned about the presence of UN Women, a group that promotes women’s empowerment, The Times reported.

Markle’s lawyers denied this was so, stressing that Markle met with members of the women’s empowerment group later during her visit to the island.

The Duchess missed morning duties but was expected to meet people at Markets for Change, a UN Women project.

His visit was scheduled for 15 minutes, but it only lasted six in the sweltering tent.

Following the allegations, the late Queen launched an investigation into the allegations.
