WHENEVER Meghan Markle goes out in public, her makeup is always perfect.
Her makeup artist Daniel Martin shared some secrets about how he creates the Duchess of Sussex’s flawless beauty looks for events.
In a clip with Allure, he detailed a look he did on Meghan when she was honored at the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City.
Meghan looked sensational as she accepted the award wearing a form-fitting gold dress by Johanna Ortiz.
And it turns out that the secret to her shiny lips that night was a Lip mask £25 which you can buy at Sephora.
Daniel revealed: “This is my good friend Meghan. She was wearing a beautiful golden dress.
““So I wanted to keep her skin very tanned, very golden. She doesn’t like her lips very much. So I wanted to keep her lip looking really youthful. We wanted a really juicy, beautiful, beautiful pink.
“I prepared her lip with a Kissu mask and then we used lip tint on top. It’s a look that anyone can do at home.”
Daniel explained how he used the TATCHA The Kissu Lip Mask, which is a “soothing, non-sticky Japanese peach and olive-derived squalane jelly lip mask that softens, soothes and helps restore visibly plump lips.”
It is said to “help repair damaged lips, revitalize and soothe irritations.”
It currently receives countless five-star reviews from customers, with one writing, “This is actually the first product that actually hydrates my lips and lasts almost all day.”
Another gushed: “THIS PRODUCT!!!! Let me tell you that I am a lip moisturizer queen and I couldn’t put this down.
Daniel, who did the Duchess of Sussex’s makeup for her wedding day, praised his friend for being “contemporary”.
Talking to Entertainment tonightDaniel said: “I feel like what she represents is now. She is contemporary.
“It resonated on so many levels because here is someone we all know. We all have a friend who looks like her, who is marrying someone from this establishment who has perspective and meaning.”
The renowned makeup artist said his friend and client Meghan, 42, changed the beauty industry for the better.
He added, “I feel like she resonates globally on so many levels, not just because of how she looks, but because of who she is.”
Daniel added that he feels a certain “responsibility” in partnering with her.
He explained: “I’m really lucky that we’re authentic friends, so I feel like I have to do it and be so good because we’re all in this together.
“She gave me this incredible gift and now it’s my responsibility to share it.”
It is believed that Daniel met Meghan when she was an actress and worked in Suits in Toronto, and he went to visit her at Kensington Palace after her move, and attended her baby shower in New York.
Speaking about getting her makeup done for her wedding day, he said: “My goal that day was just to make sure my friend felt great on her wedding day.
“It wasn’t about the spectacle of who she was going to marry, the wedding. I just wanted her to feel as beautiful as any bride on her wedding day.”
MEGHAN MARKLE’s stunning GIVENCHY wedding dress
Meghan Markle stunned onlookers when she arrived at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry in a stunning custom Givenchy gown created by British designer Clare Waight Keller.
The former Suits actress chose to work with Clare Waight Keller “for her elegant, timeless aesthetic, impeccable tailoring and relaxed demeanor.”
Meghan wanted to “highlight the success of a leading British talent who has served as creative head of three globally influential fashion houses – Pringle of Scotland, Chloé and now Givenchy.”
Meghan and Clare worked together on the design, which featured a graphic open bateau neckline that gracefully frames the shoulders and emphasizes Meghan’s slender waist.
